Fiat & digital assets

Two sides of a payment,
in different forms.

When one side of a transaction works in fiat and the other in digital assets, something has to convert, and someone has to be answerable for how it was done. That is the work on this page.

Conversion

The same arrangement, read in either direction. Which assets, currencies and networks are supported is confirmed for your transaction before anything is committed.

  1. 01Start

    Funds in fiat

From an account in the name of the party to the transaction, with the source and purpose documented.

  2. 02Scope

    Asset and network

Which digital asset, on which network, and the destination it has to reach.

  3. 03Execution

    Conversion by the provider

Carried out by the regulated party providing the service, under its own checks and terms.

  4. 04End

    Delivery to the agreed address

Confirmed against the instruction, with the record kept against the transaction.

Illustrative sequence. No rate, liquidity or execution is implied by this page.

Digital asset settlement

When the counterparty pays in them.

Settlement is a separate case from conversion. Here the payment itself is made in a digital asset, because that is what one side holds or what the other side requires. The conversion, if there is one, happens at a point the parties agree rather than wherever it is convenient.

We help establish whether that is possible for your transaction, what the receiving side needs in order to accept it, and how the movement is evidenced for both parties and for the banks behind them.

Illustrative. The arrangement for a given transaction depends on the parties, jurisdictions and assets involved.

What decides
availability.

The parties
Who is sending and receiving, where they are established, and what their own banks and counterparties will accept.
The jurisdictions
The rules that apply on both sides, and to the provider carrying out the conversion.
The assets and networks
Which are supported for the arrangement at the time, and in what size.
The source of funds
Where the value came from, and whether that can be evidenced to the standard the provider requires.

We do not publish a list of supported assets, networks or limits, because the honest answer is the one we give for your transaction after checking it with the provider.

Tell us what has to convert.

What you hold, what the other side needs, and where it has to end up. We will tell you whether there is a supported route and what it would require.
